Maximizing output from non-target screening
The purpose of this project is to dig deeper into the data material already generated in the Suspect screening in Nordic countries: Point sources in city areas (TemaNord: 2017:561) to further optimize the benefits of the major work that has already been done. Samples (effluent, sediment, and biota) from all of the Nordic countries were carefully selected, sampled and analysed by a consortium of some of the Nordic region’s most experienced scientific groups in analyses of emerging environmental contaminants. But where perhaps the full potential of the generated data is still to be realized. This project will try to further identify and describe the substances already detected, to be able to better understand what substances we in modern Nordic societies release into the sea via our wastewater.

Statoil assigned NILU ¿ Norwegian Institute for Air Research to carry out a programme on "Environmental monitoring of emissions to air from the Snøhvit LNG facility". The project started on 1 February 2006. This report summarises the results of the measurement programme from 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013. It involves the measurement of meteorological parameters on Melkøya and Fuglenesodden. Air quality parameters were measured at Fuglenesodden. Precipitation samples taken at Forsøl and Kargeneset were analysed for PAHs, inorganic ions, heavy metals and mercury. The current air quality standards are met for all compounds.

Statoil assigned NILU - Norwegian Institute for Air Research to carry out a programme on "Environmental monitoring of emissions to air from the Snøhvit LNG facility". The project started on 1 February 2006. This report summarises the results of the measurement programme from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011. It involves the measurement of meteorological parameters on Melkøya and Fuglenesodden. Air quality parameters were measured at Fuglenesodden and Forsøl. Precipitation samples taken at Forsøl and Kargeneset were analysed for PAHs, inorganic ions, heavy metals and mercury. The current air quality standards are usually met. PM10 filter samples showed three exceedances of the air quality criteria recommended by Klif.

Measurement of air quality in exhibition and storage rooms at Wawel Royal Castle, Krakow, Poland. NILU OR
The report is part of the project ¿Development of a showcase for a safe display of silk banners¿ (ENVISILK). which was funded by the Cultural Exchange Fund within the framework of EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, through a financial agreement with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
The report presents the methodology used and the results from examination of the environmental conditions in the exhibition and storage rooms for the silk banners at the Wawel Royal Castle in Krakow. In addition it presents guidelines for the best possible design for a protective showcase with optimal environment for display and storage of the silk banners.
