Our research focuses on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of transport under Norwegian conditions. We consider various influential parameters, including diverse payloads, road infrastructure factors such as speed limits, road texture, and tire-pavement interactions. Additionally, we account for road gradients and traffic flow conditions to conduct specific LCAs.
Our comprehensive approach evaluates different powertrain technologies, including internal combustion engines, hybrids, battery electric vehicles, and fuel cells. This provides a thorough understanding of their environmental impacts under various conditions.
Transport is a significant source of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Parametric Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is essential for accurately measuring emission footprints and advancing climate neutrality in the transport sector.
